No. Your massage should never be painful. Our goal is to help you feel relaxed while also addressing tension and supporting recovery. You may experience a “hurt-so-good” sensation during deeper work, but it should always feel relieving, not uncomfortable.
During your massage, most clients undress to their comfort level, typically leaving on just their underwear. This allows us to use lotion or oil directly on the skin, which helps your muscles relax and makes the massage more effective. You’ll always be properly draped with a sheet or blanket, and only the area being worked on will be uncovered. Your comfort and privacy are always our top priority.
It depends on your goals. For general relaxation, once a month works well for most people. For injury recovery, chronic tension, or training support, every 1–2 weeks can be more effective. We can help you find a schedule that fits your body and lifestyle.
Stay hydrated, stretch gently, and take it easy if possible. You might feel relaxed or even a little sore afterward. Staying hydrated and moving lightly helps your body get the most benefit from your session.
