I have never had physical therapy prior to becoming a patient of Matt Giuliano. I cannot say enough good things about Matt and his entire staff. He will push you to reach your potential and has now opened a gym next door that completes the PT experience by helping you improve the areas of your body in such a manner that will hopefully keep you from re-injury. Would give them 100 stars if it were possible.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a prescription or referral from my doctor to see one of your Doctors of Physical Therapy?

A referral is not required for you to be evaluated by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Through Direct Access our physical therapists can assess your needs and provide treatment for up to 30 days. However, some insurance plans do require a referral before treatment can begin. Contact us to discover your insurance plan requirements.

What can I expect during my therapy at Beyond Physical Therapy?

A session lasts about 1 hour. You’ll work with the same physical therapist each time–a Doctor of Physical Therapy who will assess your needs and provide the appropriate treatment to achieve your goals. Treatments may include manual therapy, exercise, pain-relieving modalities, and more depending on your body’s needs. See the Services We Offer page for all the services we provide!

What should I wear to my first appointment?

Wear loose-fitting clothes that are not restrictive. Clothing that can be moved or rolled up to expose the injured area is preferred. When in doubt, dress comfortable!

What happens if I miss an appointment or have to cancel an appointment?

In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we ask that you provide at least 24-hours notice before your scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made after this time will be subject to a $45 cancellation fee.

What if I Don't have Insurance?

We provide self-pay options for individuals without insurance. Contact one of our clinics to discuss self-pay rates and options!

At Your Session

Not sure what to expect at your first session? Here's what you need to know:

  • The First Session Will Take About 1 Hour

    Make sure to wear comfortable clothes that allow a full range of motion plus access to any injured areas.

  • Bring Your Insurance Card, Drivers License, Doctor's Order for Physical Therapy, Filled-In Paperwork

    To maximize our time together, please print and fill out the 3 New Patient Forms before you arrive for a first session.

  • Getting to Know You and Your Unique Body

    We'll ask questions about your movement, recovery, sports performance, or wellness goals and truly listen to you and your body.

  • Holistic One-of-a-Kind Treatment Plan

    Your dedicated doctor of physical therapy (DPT) will design an individualized plan based on your unique goals.

  • Continuity of Care

    At Beyond Physical Therapy, you'll work with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy at every session to ensure consistent and effective care to help you meet your goals.
